VIVA ESPANA ~
so i've been backing Spain from the start and i'm not gonna get swayed by the swashbuckling, superior play of the Germans. the discipline of the spanish club will see them through. so i am backing Spain and doing a double against the grain and gonna swing the over as well!

the color today is ORANGE. i like the Dutch today in a 1-0, perhaps 2-0 victory. the plays are Netherlands and the under. Uruguay has had a decent run but a coupla yellow card suspensions is gonna hurt them today. the Dutch are at full force. these plays will get you in the cashier line. wanna get risky, lay the goal!!!

Germany against Holland in the finals. Today I would like Uruguays chances a lot more if they had all of their best players playing in the game. Holland is too destructive and too good to lose to a crippled Uruguay. Germany is going to mop the floor with Spain and the way Spain has been playing compared to how Germany has been playing Spain might get embarrassed so I really like that over. Holland Vs Germany in a shootout.

i am still in shock that brasil lost-the ORANGE look tough to advance to the final, good for them.
today's 1st match should be terrific. i've liked Argentina from the beginning and i'll stick with them here. i really love the over here more than anything!
match # 2 - not much to say-Spain and the under. they are favored by 1 goal for a reason!!

Soccer
As much as I hate covering up the blog of the year the world cup is resuming play and JT-Dantanna-BarnabyJones' warrant takes a backseat to that. Today is the day for a bold prediction, a big upset as far as oddsmakers are concerned. Brazil played a very sktechy game against North Korea and their 11 man in the box defensive strategy. I think Holland is going to employ the same strategy today and work their offense on the counter attack. Unlike North Korea though, who did have some very good chances against Brazil and even scored a goal I might add, Holland has offensive threats all over the place and I think they are going to pull it off. Uruguay is an easy one but watch out for holland. I wouldn't mess with over unders because it is a 50 50 coin toss. These teams are all too good to go down without a fight so if they are trailing they might press and end up conceding.

gettin' down to the nitty gritty here - i see 2 solid winners today, easy as that. put your $$$$ on brasil & uruguay-sure fire winners. the 1st match oughta be a real good game. i see on some sights, as well as here, where brasil is favored on the spread by a goal. wait till the game starts as that'll disappear after 15 minutes of cautious play by both sides. i see everyone calling under on the game and i like the over here. tentative to start and once 1 goal is scored, prolly in the 1st half, more will follow. game 2 this afternoon i like uruguay in a low scoring affair-something like 1-0 or perhaps 2-1. i like uruguay and the under.
