Stay away from the Giants. They will be super lucky to win at all let alone by 7 and a half. EVERYONE IS INJURED AND THEY DIDNT EVEN MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT AT ALL. I knew about C Shaun O'hara (the Giants Best O-Lineman) and T David Diehl who is also very solid, i knew about WR Steve Smith (their 2nd best WR) but there are more...Hakeem Nicks (arguably the best WR in the NFL), Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora (2 Beast D lineman) both arent 100 percent and might not play. Shaun Andrews another offensive lineman is out. I am not liking the way this one is shaping up..More than anything i dont like how the NY Media which is normally so reliable totally missed this one. bad. bad for the Giants. very bad.

Sorry guys i lost most of my fofree points on stupid ass soccer upsets this morning so i dont have a whole bunch of points to show my picks..real quick i'll go over my strong and not so strong picks of the week. There are a few gimmies this week, first there is the Giants -7.5 thats money in the bank so place your bet till the line moves to 9.5 1H Giants -4 is probly the safest pick of the week. I feel the same way about the Steelers today, Steelers -7 is a great play over the bum ass bills who by the way should lose the rest of their games for a chance at Andrew luck if hes coming out this year (i dont know if he is or isnt). Two games that should be tight and could go either way are Green Bay at Atlanta, In this one i like the Packers on the road but it could turn out the other way. Vikes at Skins i wouldnt drop cash but i like the vikes. My upset of the week is i like Da Bears to upset the eagles fairly easily.

National Championship
Tomorrow is a very sad day for college football. Two of the best teams in the nation are going to play in a regular season game, and one of them has to lose. Everyone with any sort of football knowledge knows the SEC is the best conference hands down, but tomorrow Alabama might end Auburns run. It is a shame that Auburn will have all of those SEC wins under their belt and still need to beat Alabama and South Carolina to earn their spot in the national championship. Meanwhile boise st and TCU get to play cupcakes all year, and people have the nerve to talk about them deserving a shot. Sad Sad day for me tomorrow if Auburn loses. I want to see the two best teams play in the national championship. Sadly the SEC can't bring Alabama and Auburn to the title game. If there were a playoff system these are the two teams that would put Boise St and TCU in their place. Sadly one of them will probably end up playing Oregon. Oregon had a pretty weak schedule this season too. Oh well. I am going to be cheering for auburn tomorrow, but I don't think I will be betting on them.
PS. The books took the worst hit they've seen in 5 years last week. They are going to inflate totals this week. So be careful and be prepared to bet some unders! the lines will probably see serious movement too. They don't want to get hit like that again.

Turkey Day Pigskin
Family, Football and Food..Thats what I'm Talking about. The 12.30 game seems to require the most indepth discussion. Ok Here's the deal..The Pats are 8 and 2 and the Lions are 2 and 8 sounds like a no brainer riiight??? Well let me tell you why you should think twice and maybe a third time about this game. The Patriots have been torched by everyone this year yards wise and are very close to allowing 400 yards per game on average. To put in perspective just how bad that is, There have only been 6 Teams in the History of the NFL who have finished the season giving up 400 yards per game. The Pats have been keeping alot of people out of the end-zone so the Yards per game hasnt quite bit them so hard yet..The Lions on the other hand are on the upswing and playing close games with everyone every week. I don't know that NE has any kind of stud in their secondary who can keep megatron out of the endzone..I Def like the Lions to cover the 7.5 points and let me be the first to tell you that the Lions actually have a chance to win this game outright..I say NE wins this one 28 to 27. As far as the Second game goes..Reggie Bush is back and so is the Saints Offence, Saints Roll 35-24 over the Cowgirls.

Got here too late for the 1:00 games and should not have forced my plays..Tonights game Eagles & Giants..my Heart obviously says eagles but I am wondering if they are over-valued bevause of the beating they put on the redskins on monday night and if the total is over inflated..Well I will never take the Giants and the consensus picks here on Fo' Free picks have done great today in the NFL which has not been the case in previous weeks..oh well I am on my home team Eagles!

Today will almost def be the last time Brett plays the Pack. Alot of people think it's gonna be a story-book ending with Favre beating his old squad with an inferior team. That sounds great and all but this is real life. The truth is that fairy-tale endings don't happen nearly as much as people want them to. The Packers are on a different level than the vikes, rice or no rice. There is another side of this story not being told and that is the story of Aaron Rodgers. This guy is a stud QB arguably the best in the league, but does he get credit for it?? NO. Everyone wants to compare him to Favre. I get it, Favre played more consecutive games than anyone ever and hes thrown more TD's too which by the way go hand in hand..He also has thrown more INT's than anyone ever. He has had a great career and no one can take that from him..He thought age wouldn't slow him down but guess what, is has. Don't look now but Aaron Rodgers is unbelievable and he has something to prove as well. So we have two elite QB's both with something to prove..The difference is Rodgers has a much better team and is in his prime or atleast approaching it, while favre has a less talented team and is well past his prime. If you believe in fairy-tales pick the vikes but if you wanna make some cash you better pick the Pack.

Ok guys, I have 3 possible upsets today....
Watch for the Houston Texans to upset the New York Jets...Mainly because the Jets are the most over-rated 7 and 2 team I can remember and the texans main weakness is pass defense, the Jets wont exploit it like most teams have this year.. I like the Texans 24-13.......Also I think the Raiders just might steal this one from the Steelers..The raiders without jamarcus bum ARENT THAT BAD. Darren Mcfadden has been showing up this year and even pittsburgh will have a tough time stopping him. Also Jason Campbell is WAY under-rated, guys got some skills..I see a low scoring game here with the Raiders coming out on top...Last but Certainly not least, i love the G-Men tonight to upset the eagles Mainly because the Giants should be atleast 7 point favorites in this game. Mike Vick has one incredible game monday night against a horrible Washington team and now they are favorites against the Giants NFL leading defense and nearly unstoppable offence?? I know the Giants looked bad against the cowboys last week but you guys need to remember that was the second time they played the cowgirls in a month and they had no idea what to expect from a jason garrett coached cowboys team sense no one has ever seen him as a head coach.. Razor, any way we can remove multiple screen names from people? its obvious trevor and snffan are the same person. snffan made the exact same picks in his matchup on the monthly final as TREVOR and in my matchup in the weekly as SNFFAN. this makes it totally unfair as snffan has already been eliminated from the monthly tourney. he should be disqualified from the monthly and the title should be handed to rypat. i doubt any of the regulars here would object to that. what snffan and trevor are doing is CHEATING. it should not be allowed in the monthly tourney as many of us actually care about winning it fair and square

i am depot26. My grand plan was to win the monthly tourney and then go on here and post a blog relinquishing the title and the depot26 screen name in hopes of setting an example to everyone else that CHEATING should not be allowed on these tournaments and in hopes that others would follow suit and remove additional screen names. unfortunately, snffan/trevor beat me yesterday in the semis, so these blogs may not have as much of an impact had i won. anyways, i still hold that multiple screen names from the same person should not be allowed in these tourneys... and since i doubt Razor can police this since hes a busy dude, i would hope that all of you who do have multiple screen names will show a little shame and respect to the rest of us and refrain from signing up multiple names for the tourneys. by you not taking them seriously is a huge disrespect to all of us, and most importantly, to RAZOR who is the owner of this site. you are all turning this site into a joke rather than allowing it to be the great site that it is. please at least think about it as its the right thing to do

Razor, any way we can remove multiple screen names from people? its obvious trevor is snffan as snffan made the exact same picks in his matchup on the monthly final as TREVOR and my matchup in the weekly as SNFFAN. this makes it totally unfair as snffan has already been eliminated from the monthly tourney. he should be disqualified from the monthly and the title should be handed to rypat. i doubt any of the regulars here would object to that. what snffan and trevor are doing is CHEATING. it should not be allowed in the monthly tourney as many of us actually care about winning it fair and square

Well, what's that old saying? Something along the lines of a wild animal is most dangerous when it is trapped. Depot26 was a little trapped going into tonight's late games, and wasn't scared to pull the trigger on some big wagers, which ended up being the deciding factor in his win against me. I made some smaller ones during the day, which, although they were winners, I just didn't have big enough stones to max out on them. Great job, depot.

NY Giants
The Giants will destroy seattle today..The Giants are arguably the best team in the NFC and the SeaHawks are, well they are bad. The Giants are better than the Seahawks in almost all aspects of the game (except KR). The Seahawks do however have the best stadium in the NFL as far as retaining crowd noise and the 12th man is a very real thing up there. Another key stat is that the Giants HAVE NOT won a game in Seattle sense 1981 (they are 0-4 in that period). That comes to an end today, Giants over the Seahawks 45-10.
