I am already sick of the trade talk surrounding Donovan McNabb. Am I the only one who smells something fishy here? First of all, the Eagles are not going to trade McNabb for anything less than a very low second round pick, regardless of what they say. McNabb has proven to be a top 5 QB. Without injury problems this would not even be debatable.
It is pretty genious of the Eagles actually. Kevin Kolb played in 5 games last year and did very well. By making it appear that they like Kolb more than McNabb they are raising the young back-up QB's value. I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles end up trading Kolb for a late first round early second round pick and keep McNabb.
As a Giants fan, I would LOVE the Eagles to trade McNabb but i doubt it will go down unless someone comes with a better offer soon. If you are a team thats a QB away from making the playoffs then they should go after McNabb not Kolb but we will see how it plays out.
